Hello, my name is Yueqiu Peng, and everybody calls me Jack. I am an industrial designer.
I am a graduate of the School of Industrial Design at Carleton University. Growing up, I enjoyed playing with toys—especially Lego—which attributes as the beginning of my passion for design. I am interested in the role of sustainability and user experience in creating meaningful products that help people in their everyday lives.
SUM combines three equipment requirements: a fall arrest harness; reflective vest; and mining belt. With a modified harness, compact suit design and additional hydration system, SUM can improve miner safety, physical comfort, and working efficiency.

DEW is a modern bird house. The whole shape is simulated by a dew captured at a moment before it drops. The smooth and continuous curve is visually pleasing, and the stripes of plywood provide a natural decoration to this piece.
